How We Handle Your Sample
Your sample is handled through a controlled process designed around security, traceability, and quality.
1. Secure Receipt
Samples are received at our key-coded Kansas facility, where access is limited to authorized personnel.
2. Logging
Your sample is assigned and tracked using its unique sample code.
3. Sample Verification
Samples undergo a microscopy-based visual review to check sample authenticity and identify visible contamination or foreign material that could affect processing integrity.
4. Processing
Your sample remains secured while awaiting and undergoing processing through our proprietary wellness system.
5. Secure Storage
Processed samples are stored in a locked area for up to 30 days. This allows us to reprocess a sample if a technical issue or customer concern arises.
6. Secure Disposal
After the retention period, samples are destroyed by an authorized waste-management provider. At the point of destruction, physical samples are identified only by their kit code — not by the customer's name.
No DNA analysis or genetic testing is performed on your sample.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its intended purpose and applicable requirements.
Physical Samples — Stored securely for up to 30 days before destruction.
Wellness Results — Results remain active in our system for 10 days after delivery and are then transferred to an encrypted digital vault with restricted access.
Non-Identifiable Aggregate Information — We may analyze non-identifiable, aggregated wellness trends to better understand general patterns across our customer community.
